The Difference Between Personal and Bodily.

We hope that you never have to remember this, but there is a distinct difference between personal injury and bodily injury.  You often hear these two terms when a person gets hurt. Some people tend to use personal injury and bodily injury interchangeably, however these two terms have entirely different meanings.

Here is a quick study.  Personal injury is an element of civil law. A personal injury claim compensates victims of accidents or social wrongs.  The plaintiff in a personal injury lawsuit is the person who is injured.  When you suffer bodily injury, you are entitled to receive compensation for out-of-pocket expenses, lost wages, lost earning capacity, medical expenses, treatment procedures such as x-rays, therapy costs, and transport to the hospital.

Knowing the difference is NOT your job…it IS ours!  We are The Law Firm of Kenneth Wagner serving personal and bodily injury victims for decades in The Great Southwest.  Ken Wagner has become famous for his work on The McDonald’s Hot Coffee Case.  Let our staff work for you.  Call Ken Wagner Law of Albuquerque at (505) 242-6300.

Casey Jones is Still Rollin’ Along.

Maybe we have forgotten how frequently railway accidents occur in the United States.  Each year nearly 1,000 people are killed in train related accidents.  U S train and railroad accident statistics estimate that almost every two weeks a train derailment leads to a chemical spill as well.  Some of these spills are so serious that they require local residents to evacuate.

Here are some of the scenarios that occur on America’s railways –

1.  A Derailment
2.  Collisions between two trains
3.  Train vs. automobile
4.  Trains injuring people

Whatever the case may be, if you or a loved one has been on the wrong end of a railway collision in The Great Southwest please call the office of Ken Wagner Law located in Albuquerque.  They have dealt with man vs. train for decades and will know precisely what to do in your case.  Count on the railway accident attorneys at Ken Wagner Law.  Call (505) 242-6300.
