When to Call an Attorney after a Traffic Accident.

Saying that timing may be everything is to understate the matter.  A car or truck mishap may occur anywhere in The Great Southwest…from Albuquerque and beyond.  Follow this premise…sooner than later.  After all, seeking the counsel of an automobile accident attorney in the Albuquerque area does not cost anything!

You can bet that the insurance companies are sending their investigators out immediately!  They will investigate and begin to formulate a case covering their insured driver right away.  By the time that you or a loved one has been released from the hospital, they have already dispassionately begun to defend the other side.

We know that you have a lot on your mind at a time like this.  The truth is, the sooner you call us, the quicker you will know if you have a legitimate case against the other driver or drivers.  We have been prosecuting auto injury cases for more than half a century.  We are the Ken Wagner Law Firm.  Call Ken and his aggressive team today at (505) 242-6300.

Defective Products Encompass Many Things.

When you think of a defective product your mind may immediately go to a car, or the tires it sits on, or a toy, medicine, a prescription drug, an appliance, something you ate in a restaurant, or some product that was manufactured with a safety guarantee.  There are dozens of examples of defective products.

Hot coffee and the proper warning label may be included on that list.  Remember Stella Liebeck?  The name may not resonate with you, but I will bet that you have heard of the McDonald’s Hot Coffee Case.  Stella was an Albuquerque resident who spilled McDonald’s scalding hot coffee on herself.  You can look up the case for yourself and see how it turned out.

One of the lead attorneys on the McDonald’s Hot Coffee Case still practices personal injury law in Albuquerque New Mexico and throughout the Great Southwest.  His name is Ken Wagner and his team at www.kenwagnerlaw.com will help you with your defective product case.  Please call the ABQ office for a free consultation at (505) 242-6300.

Wrongful Death…Confused?

The term itself seems incongruous.  What exactly IS wrongful death?  Legally it is defined as the taking of an individual life resulting in willful neglect of some other person or persons.  That is a tough one to prosecute.  In its embryonic stages statutes were created to provide financial support for widows and orphans and to motivate people to exercise care to prevent injuries.

Understand that an action for wrongful death may be brought for either an intentional or unintentional act that causes an injury that results in death.  Also, the surviving beneficiaries may sue any person who caused the injuries that precipitated in the death.  It is a broad area of the law and often very difficult to prove.

If you feel that a key member of your family has been a victim of wrongful death in the Great Southwest, you need to hire a law firm with deep pockets and decades of experience.  Why not call the Albuquerque NM office of Ken Wagner?  He was on the legal team that won the famous McDonalds Hot Coffee Case.  Discuss your potential case by calling (505) 242-6300.
